About Phil Palisoul, a Professional Comedian™
Phil Palisoul has made his living as a comedian for more than 25 years. In that time, he's been all over the world, performing in such far flung places as Hong Kong, China, and Juno, Alaska. He's toured Afghanistan to perform for the troops with Comics on Duty and once did a set at the Valencia Marie Callender's for which he was paid in pie. He's worked with and won the respect of some of the biggest names in comedy, like Jerry Seinfeld, Drew Carey and George Lopez. His list of corporate clients is long and illustrious and includes GMC, Coca-Cola, and IBM.
Phil's gone virtually all over the world to perform standup comedy. Now, to perform standup comedy - he must go all over the world - virtually! Thanks to a massive investment in audio/visual equipment he doesn't entirely understand, Phil can perform his show - live from his home studio - for your company meeting, corporate event or private party.
Phil has made dozens of TV appearances, including The Tonight Show, The Late Late Show, two seasons of Last Comic Standing and many more so he's no stranger to comedy for the camera. But it was his experience in TV writing & producing that convinced him he'd need more than just a mic & a stool to engage through the screen, so he's opted to include funny visual elements created uniquely for his virtual show.
Phil's virtual show is UNIQUELY created for the streaming experience.
Phil loves to perform live and will do so under safe & sensible circumstances. He's has been featured twice at the prestigious Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, and took first place at The Great American Comedy Festival, in Johnny Carson's hometown of Norfolk, Nebraska. Phil is also proud to be a part of Laughs for the Troops, a not for profit dedicated helping vet with PTSD and TBI.
Having performed for countless clubs, corporations and cruise ships, Phil is comfortable in any venue. From funky barrooms to luxury theaters, small rooms, big rooms, to his dining room in front of a green screen - Phil's been there/done that - and done it well. Alongside his successful standup career, Phil enjoyed a decade in Los Angeles as a TV writer & producer. He wrote for shows on every major network, as well as Comedy Central.
Phil divides his time between traveling a lot, staying home in Denver, CO as much as he can and playing with his cats, Caboodle & Darla and his wife, Nora Lynch.
